Hey guys, just thought I would drop a bit of an intro post

I am only very new to kiting (bought a trainer 2 days ago), but have been watching and admiring for a long time. Got a few mates that board, some for a long time some are just learning themselves and I have always wanted to get into it just never had time.

My plan is to spend a little time on the trainer to get the concept of the wind window and basic bar control under wraps, being able to fly by feel etc. Then I will be getting some lessons from the guys at Kitepower until I am confident and skilled enough to warrant getting my own gear and go from there.

Most of my kiting will be around Botany in Sydney so hopefully I will see a lot of you out there.

Had my trainer out a few times already and it is an absolute blast can't wait for the challenge of moving up to the bigger kites and getting in the water

Hope to see you all out there soon

Go straight for the lessons mate, and get out there. If you have flown the traininer a few tines you are ready for lessons.
Kiss your old life goodbye cause wind is now going to take priority over everything.

Good luck!
