im about to go through the getting a smaller board thing.
Im 165 tall 76kg and got 12m vegas,9m vegas and a 135x41 for my light wind board.
I am kiting in Karratha and the wind conditions are 15-30knots.
looking at getting the 2011 xride 129x38.you think im getting one to small?
Ive progressed quickly and was struggling to hold a edge on the 135x41.
any thoughts.

Board = pretty good (but over hyped)
Straps = probably the worst and most painful on the market. Seriously BAD design.
I treid the 135 BTW and am 85kgs.
I use a 129x37.5 in anything from 18-40+ awesome size and i never loose the edge on it and im 98 kg so yea i would go for the 129x38 ,never ridden the board your talking about but ideal size for your weight and wind,love the small board.

Im heading down to the Expo in 3 weeks hope to get a good idea then.

make me stear to the 129 and 131, its just what board?
Your on the right track for size 129-131 will be spot on. Cardboards have some great new boards, tempo or FR would suit, or there is nobile, Slingsnot, north, cab etc all have good boards try some out if you can they all feel different.
