Ps but agree with ya comments on his contribution though.
I care what he's doing as he's definitely one of the nicest/ coolest people I've met in this sport. Along with that the fact that he pioneered and helped conceive 99% of what we all know as "wakestyle" behind a kite these days. He was the first guy to pull Peteroses and other toeside tricks behind a kite and an inspiration for most of what I have learnt kiting...
I can only imagine how sick "Best kiteboarding" could have been if Shannon had been the one with sole direction and creative control... Sadly that wasn't the case and is all too much like what happened to Wainman (well that or he just didn't give a **** anymore, which is pretty likely).
It would be sick if Shannon did something new with kiting, but I can't really see it happening.
I have gotta agree here.
Shannon didnt ever push his ego to the max (unlike many others we can all think of) but definitely took kiting to a whole new level.
Respect - wherever he is heading ?
