Well I can only assume it is blowing over 20 knots SW right now at Newcastle as the Nobbys weather station has gone off line again.
Does anyone know if the BOM are plannning on fixing this cause it always seems to happen when the wind swings to the SW and picks up.
Doesnt matter too much today as I have to work at 1600 but Im hoping to get a nice cool winter ride in tomorrow with some decent swell.
i blame the bloody pelicans sitting on the Anemometer 
why else would one of the biggest commercial ports in Aus
only have weather station working 50% of the time.
appears they have a fruit bat problem from time to time also
Yep your right. Was a steady 20knot SW'r all morning at Hawkes Nest.
The next couple should be memorable, Dixon. Or Nobbies if it's out of control.
