Hey folks.. was kiting and my rope where you sheet your bar in and out snapped. It released my kite onto one line and I had to self rescue...

How much would this be to repair?

Is it more worthwhile buying a new 4 line kitebar?

Can I use my five line bar and just wrap one of the lines up (or take it off) ?

Cheers folks :(

so its just the big thick cord that snapped- not the chicken loop itself, but the thing that connects the chicken loop to the middle lines? on slingshot kites im pretty sure its $40 to replace it.

Chicken loop is fine it's just the cord that connects to the chicken loop (along with safety bridle line which saved my kite from flying away)..

Anyone have a spare 4 line bar that i can possibly buy in Sydney today?
