Went out today with my North Rebel, wind was a bit on / off but should have been enough to have a ggod time. Pumped up my kite with the North pump, but could not get it go go past 4psi, After about 10mins of pumping. Used to only take about 3mints to pump up tight as. North recomend to get to a least 6psi.

Thought, stuff it, family is all here, kids on beach going out anyway. After the first run out and back know why they say pump them up tight. It kept folding up on it self and just being a right prick of a thing.

Landed back on the beach, spent anther 5minutes trying to get more pressure into it but couldnt.

Any one have any troubles with the North Pump? Only been used half dozen times.

Thanks

PS am pretty sure there is no leak in it as it holds the pressure, just cant get enough in it.

I had a north pump that lasted 5 sessions. I think they need a ittle bit of lubricant on them when you first by them or they won't last. Maybe their to cheap to lubricate them at the factory.

Put the hose on the inflate side not the deflate.

Yeah i had the same problem with my brand new north pump aswell, used it about 10-15 times. I can still pump it upto 6psi but it takes a while. I havnt pulled it apart yet but i reckon the seal has dried up. Pretty annoying tho.
