Why Naish is not updating it's website to let us know at least what you are demoing on the other side of the OZ?
Do you have Charger for demo?
Will you please write a review on Charger?
We've been watching the underground photos for months and we still don't know what it is!
Isn't the underground a board designed for riders who use wakeboard boots? That's the impression I got from the limited press.
Hi Guys,
we had our Naish and North demo yesterday in Mackay. Thanks to Aiden for his information and efforts on the beach. We had sic weather, with a nice 15knots wind with an outgoing tide.
We had the-
12mtr Rebel
12mtr Vegas
11mtr Torch
9mtr Cult,
Ill work on reviews and pics today.
Joe
had a very nice demo here in Townsville yday. Thanx to all the people rocked up.
Some very nice stuff. we will put photos up tonight.
My favourite kite was the 9m Cult.
North Boards will be the boards to beat in 2010. High Tech from Austrian Snowboard factory with some pretty kewl graphix.
As promised, here are some pics of the gear at Pallarenda, Townsville.
and there's a couple more on my profile
How good dose some of that gear look! Sick! That vegas is a show stopper hope rebel comes in that colourway as well[:p
Not long now...freaking stinging I tell ya!
Luke
I tried the 2010 9m vegas at palla for an hour in 15-16 knots, I weigh 47 kilos and thought it was pretty good I had just enough power. The main kite Ive been riding is a switchblade 3 8m and compared to that it was alot faster and had about the same bar pressue, I couldnt say about the relaunch but overall I like it better than the SB3
Thanks to Marv and Luke for the photos. and to all the shops who have put on the demos so far, its been a great tour. We have been having some good winds so far, fingers crossed they continue...
I wont write too much on the kites as it will be pretty clear to everyone that I have a slight bias, however finding all the 2010 gear really impressive, especially the Naish Cult 9m and the the North team 135, a combo that got even me planing in 13-16kn at Mackay!!! and is so much fun to ride, the light bar pressure that can be achieved on the cult and its ultraquick turning speed make for a really fun kite.
I have also been spending a bit of time on the Rebel 12m which has LOTS of bottom end this year, coupled with all the good of last years Rebel and with the added stability of five struts again this year.
I (and the demo gear) will be on the sunshine coast for the next few days:
wed: Agnes waters/1770
thur or fri: Noosa
sat: Caloundra
before heading to Brisbane for Sunday.
once again contact your closest North/Naish dealer for exact locations and times to get a chance to fly/ride the new gear.
hope to see you then.
Word is that the Charger and Helix will be here on time for the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane demos this weekend....
all,
due to the wind on the sunshine coast being very uncooperative the Caloundra "demo" will be held at Sunshine coast sailboards/Kite Action from 12 tomorrow (saturday).
We will still pump all the small kites and all the boards will be on display so come down and have a look, if the wind gods take pity we might even be able to shift to get a ride, but we will meet at the shop at 12 either way.
And the rumors are true, I have recieved the brand new Helix and charger demo kites, still need to fly both in anger before I can review either however the helix looks better even than I remmbered and the Charger looks like an interisting project for Naish... come and have a look.
