nobody can ride a big wave as radical as a windsurfer.
A kiter cant ride a wave like that!
atleast they cut out the landings, so its kind of like kiting..
rowdy no one seems to know anything about you, u should make a day in the life of video so everyone knows who it is they are hating so much.

I think the video/ promo is pretty average...... why do these promo vids that go for 2:30min have about 25seconds of actual footage 2min of that promo was padding, scenery shots, credits etc......
There are some awesome windsurfing movies around ( not saying that this one is no good just that the promo is no good )
For those interested an oldie but a goodie is called " a windsufing movie " ( the first one ) respect to the poleys.......... this second one is probably just as good but the promo is average.
I like to see windsurfers hitting some big sliders, anyone trying this? got any good footage? I remeber seeing some little knee high slider being done on a windsurfer years back but has anyone progressed more?
I must say I was a bit worried when Rowdy posted a video entitled #2. I was a bit afraid to click for fear of someo 2 girls one cup action. Sweet vid though. Good to see a bit of love for windsurfing on the kite forum.

Much respect for the big wave poleys. We went on the Abrolhos trip last year with king of the point and a fair few other poleys (kiters outnumbered 4 to 1!), some of the stuff they were pulling on big waves was really impressive.
the biggest complaint from the poleys was the wind shadow on the waves :P
haha - yeah that wasn't really want I meant by a slider - thats a kicker - Its a shame windsurfers call but checking a landing but hey - respect for the double loop
I mean something like more like this but a bigger scale....a proper slider...
