Ozone have identified a potential issue with the large black inflate/deflate valve. The black valve is purchased from a China based manufacturer, and the thread quality has been found to be inconsistent. This can lead to the valve leaking slowly and/or cross threading easily.

Ozone is committed to customer satisfaction and have produced a mould to manufacture their own inflate valve. This valve is RED and will be provided free of charge to all Ozone 2011/2012 kite owners that have the black boston valve on their current kites.

All Ozone dealers have adequate stocks of the RED valves to give to customers for free.

Thanks to Ozone for identifying a problem and being proactive in resolving the issue but, can you clarify something.

With every new kite purchased a spare valve is provided in the repair kit....... does that mean Ozone will supply two valves per 2011 - 2012 kite?

Yes, the spare valve is still provided and it will of course be a red valve.

Its actually a hobbit extension device, more commonly known as a stool for shortass people to stand on. We call it the H.E.D. though.

Yeah guys - Ozone have been awesome with this. Its so refreshing to have a company that stands behind their products and brand reputation, wheres the cost of mistakes (even if it not really theirs) and protects their customers from hassles and rubbish.

Ive put a post on my site a few weeks back to help people with this.

Please send me your Postal address and I'll organize some for you, most likely from one of the West Australian Ozone dealers - AKS in Scarborough, WestOzkiteboarding in Safety Bay or Scotty Diffen at Ningaloo Escape.
