Hey. I have a quiver of Bandits. 8m Dos, 10m B3, 12m Dos. Oldies I know, but goodies. Have the chance of picking up a deal on an Ozone Edge 9m. I'm thinking it could replace the 8m Dos which is getting a bit old. My wife mainly flys it and I think she'd appreciate a bit more up wind ability and boost. Opinions please 
If I could I would make all my kites into edges up wind is unreal and very easy to get along with. However I have never flown any bandits.
very different kites, depends what you want from your kiting, the bandit is a do it all kite , the edge is a speed machine with huge boosting ability , i gave last years bandit a run but i wouldnt change from my edges ,its a personal preference, give one a go and get high
burkey mike at kitethrills should have one for demo , you cant have your wife going bigger than you , its just not cool
Well a edge certainly hauls are upwind and boosts to the moon.
But it also does is get you going real fast. When its powered you need to edge like a mofo or your going to be going toooooo faaaaaaast. The power also doesn't shut off as easily as letting the bar out. you can hold big winds on it but only if you choke the board speed back get too much board speed up and all hell breaks loose.
So... its not a kite for everyone. but if you can handle the power and the speed and have legs of steal and like to boost insane then it may be the beast for you.
If you want an all round kite thats more dynamic to fly and generally more fun in all other aspects apart from insane glide look at a c4.
More like replace your 10! Get a big board and it is a one kite quiver!! Unless your hell into freestyle get onto the edge!
