So what do you guys do on the beach while waiting for the wind?

PS: beer drinking is not an activity it is a necessity.

look at the wind tree and pray it moves enough...
apart from that other normal activities.

If I think the wind is going to build. I pump up and have a snooze under the canapy. I know it's windy enough when the canapy starts flapping and wakes me up!

The wind arrives at exactly 2pm every afternoon, why would you go down earlier and wait for it?

Here in bowen QLD the wind seems to arrive at exactly 2pm also almost every day. Exept when the northerlys come through. Like glass in the morning, rough as guts in the arvy

Bowen gets the green every arvo this week
Low tides every morning this week so running the dogs on the beach - otherwise don't spend much time waiting around for wind....
suggest hacky sack?? Good way to warm up those muscles...

In Townsville it's been almost the same, but lately this week since Fri the wind's have been pumping since 11am!
