I took a few pics today. First time I've tried taking water pics. Can anyone recommend a spray or something similar to repel the water from the glass on the housing?

Great shots, I only wish we had blue sky and sun here at the moment :o)

The technique I use is while the lens/lens port is dry cover it with plenty of saliva, this helps form a thin water membrane over the lens once you take the camera/camera housing out of the water to take the shot.

For best results keep the camera/camera housing immersed in the water until the very last few seconds before you take your shot, the lens/lens port should then have a nice clear water membrane form over it which will get rid of those water droplets from your photos.

There are other methods like rubbing sliced potatoe and rainx on the lens, I have had no joy with either of these, all the best.

Cheers
Ian

Thanks mate for your kind words, I look forward to seeing your pics using the technique one word of advice though, people will look at you funny when you start spitting on your camera

Nice pics Hosh,

Makes me miss the fun times at the point.

Weird looking and seeing pics of the school running without me there :-S

Lots of nice new toys in the pics too
