Has anyone rigged up a practice bar/chicken loop under thier house or in thier garage to practice any tricks and moves? Had some ideas that seemed good in theory, but no good when I tried them.

Have one set up hanging off my balcony, good for learning handle passes and stuff but make sure you use strong rope and have plenty of room. theres heaps of vids on youtube if you search handle pass training.

A tramp is a good addition to the bar hangin from roof if you got the room.

I got both of my shoulders dislocated numerous times in snow boarding.
Handle pass is not an option for me anymore.

All that hanging a bar from a tree will do is make your muscles remember how to do a useless pullup (as said above).
Your best bet is get a tramp, a rope and handle, good for learning flat spins and stuff. But really the best thing to do is just work up to it in small steps on the water.
