Gday all, never kited in the rain before, just wondering if its possible, and if so what effect on the kite can i expect?
Make sure you dry it before packing it up cause the fresh water (rain) will make it mouldy and kill your kite
It is not too bad i have done it . Beware thoe the best wind stoper is rain so dont go out too far and dont go if it looks like storm, lighting .![]()
Kite behaves like a wet kite-unless wind is honking, my REV2s tend to be slow, heavy and less responsive when wet
Some of my favorite sessions have been in the rain, It doesn't affect your kite too much, but as everyone has said "wet kite = wet bag".The only downside to kiting in the rain, Plus it hurts a bit.
