G'day all,

any news how Robe comp is going, just wondering??

Not sure who won it but Good Friday was just that.
Wind topped out at 64 knots on the wind gauge at the Robe yacht club.
Only a few guys braved the conditions in the arvo.

... yikes , 64 knots and cold as, can't be very nice.

Did the comp go ahead, did they have reasonable conditions other times (a part from the 64 knot day)?

Went out Friday morning at Long Beach before it got too windy . Had a blast in onshore conditions 12m . Air temp was 20 , water cool but OK once on the go .
Left on Sunday but gathered that it was SW windy enough for polies on Sunday /Monday so missed a couple of good sessions . Had to placate the other half in Adelaide .
Not scared of cold water any more . Too much fun to be had in the heavy air and waves. Am reminded what a great part of Oz SE/SA coast is . Will be back after winter for south easterlies definitely
