Hey just wondering if anyone knows if Mourouk Ebony Hotel on Rodrigues is close enough to Point sud est kitespot to not need a car? Have heard this is one of the best spots to kite on the island.
That's the place to stay, you kite on the beach in front, 30mtr walk.
There are a couple of other places easily walked to. Jerome who runs the kite school does trips around the island to all the spots, he has a boat and it's all organised. He's a top guy and it's cheap as.
It's a great place and the wind cranks non stop. Take a spring suit and rashie though the temp is low 20's, the water is warm but the air temp chills after a while.
