A professional surfer has uploaded a video of a large group of sharks devouring a whale carcass only metres away from the shore of a beach in Australia's northwest.

Why wouldn't they shooo the sharks away and try and de-beach that poor whale...???
And did anyone else see the baby humpback whale calf at 0:40.
I hope he got away from the sharks...
