I guess you tried typing "Slingshot kite Australia" into google
and you have tried the local shop from where you purchased the board as this is with whom you actually have the legal warrantly with anyway and coming here to seabreeze is your last resort as they have both been unsuccessful attempts

Your best bet is to write your claim on a piece of paper, tear the the piece of paper into a billion little pieces then throw it up in the air on a windy day and hope it flys all the way to Slingshot. For all the good it will do it will take less time than waiting on a response from the Australian distributor. That has been my experience with them anyway.

Hi Hookworm,
Thanks, I will say all you guys at Zu have been very helpful with my spare parts and advise, also very friendly (especially as I did not buy my kites from you), but I have now switched to another brand of kite.

Hi Lebowski

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experiance with your warranty claim, I personally handled your warranty and have all the details on hand, which I am happy to forward you personally.

Unfortunately in this case after first contact from the retail outlet (April 10) we received the required information (application & photos) to execute the warranty on 17 April once we received this your warranty was complete April 18 and and the spare part sent.

i've only ever had warranty claims with slingy and cabrinha, and slingy were an absolute pleasure to deal with. andy used to bend over backwards to help me out with replacing broken gear, even when it was a couple of seasons old.

on the other hand, i'll never touch cabrinha gear after my warranty experiences with them

chalk and cheese...

I agree with you stamp andy always did his best to help people out but I have to say after spending most of the summer in the shop selling gear the crew at slingshot aus have bent over backward to help people way more then then any other company, and I take my hat off to theses guy's for there efforts. Not just saying this because I support them but I've seen in person how hard they work .

Yep, had 2 Slingy board warranties over the years and both dealt with perfectly - no pain.

Even sent a new board down first so I wouldn't be off the water.

I've never had an issue with Slingshot warranty. I've had 'P' lines & pulleys for my REV's replaced free of charge when really they're a normal wearing part. When my '04 fuel was dropping it's nipples they replaced the leading edge bladder there & then. When I left my bar & lines just lying on the beach Andy felt sorry for me & replaced it at cost price.

All is good, contacted Tim from Zu Kitesurfing in St Kilda and he quickly sorted the
warranty issue out and is sending me out a replacement part, no complaints here

Gee col you have had a bad run, I had no problems either with warranty on my rallys or my rev1 in the last five years, o hang on nothing went wrong with them that wasn't self inflicted
