What the $*&k is this clown on!
I quote from the home page of a shop that is somehow is allowed to sell kites to the public...... scary!
“Trainer kite - buy before lessons? NO!
Lots of people has this mis-conception that they should buy a trainer kite before lessons. Short professional answer is NO, you should not. Reasons: 1/. It can generate a lot of power and pull you off balance, it can crash much easier than a big kite and not only you will lose your $200 but you can hit someone with it and cause injury. And what if you got pulled and twist an ankle, or faceplant? 2/. You still need tuition to learn about safety and how to fly, even for a trainer kite, 3/. In a real lesson, you will only spend about 15-20 minutes on a trainer, so why waste $200 buying one? Read more at our facebook page at xxxx xxxxxxx. “![]()
Not really that funny dude :( but I agree people getting into kitesurfing should take lessons....
Last time I checked people could buy any powered kite they liked online and have no clue what they are doing with it! Even second hand off this very site!
Anyway happy new year :)
