Anywho, this weekend i started the rocker table.
Here are a couple of pics of the progression.
Here i am setting up the side rails.
Side rails are screwed on.
Laying out the cross bars.
Two bars set up on their supports.
Up to now i have almost completed the bars, i ran out of all thread and bolts.
I will Finnish it next weekend and then pull it apart for finishing and painting. Not sure what table top to use yet, ill have look into that a bit more to be able to get it to do what im planning.

Yep that's it, adjustable rocker table to be able to set the rocker , or lack of it when laying up a board
Looking good. Threaded rod idea works well from previous rocker table projects i have seen. Are you going to attach a vacuum to the table?

@ oris
yeah more like ten, the boards will be a multi plane twist vortex design![]()

I grabbed the idea from a table that looks and seems to work great. It has the vac attachements on the table surface, im not sure if i will do that yet.
Being the first time ive thought of Vac bagging anything i guess i will figure what is more reliable and less work but will still do what its meant to.
Peterdj,
Just a quick word of encouragement, please continue to update the thread with your progress. Would be good to see the whole process from start to finish.
It's a good feeling to ride a board you have made yourself. Good luck ![]()
