I am trying to start Kitesurfing but i was going to find out if i could one cheaper then new from the shop. Im New to this forum and not sure where to post anything, i was just wondering if anyone had a practice kite they dont want and they could spare one or sell one thanks.
Ive got a 20m North Rhino 02 that would be perfect for you. Its the perfect kite for a 70 kg rider in 20 knots. I'll sell it for $1000.
But seriously,
If you want people to be really helpful, how about telling where you are so we can advise you to go to whatever shop and get some lessons. Its quite a big jump from a 1m "practice kite" to a 12+m full size beast.
Otherwise any kite shop will have a trainer kite.
Oo, I am looking for a trainer kite and was just wondering because people only use them to practice and then move onto 10m or so kites, so i was just wondering if anyone has one that they can sell me to get cheaper. i live in redcliffe.
Mate, do yourself a favour and head down to your local when the winds blowing and hang around some guys that look like they know what there doing. Look, listen and ask questions. That way you'll have a bit more of an idea what to ask on the forums. It just may save you from some of the grumpy old barstards on the forum tearing you apart later with the usual " use the forum search tab" crap.
good luck mate.![]()
i think your local shop in redcliffe would be kitepower, go down and see them, they will be able to give advice
I went to kite power and they said if im going to buy anything 2nd hand buy it off here only not ebay and nothing made before 2007
Yeah thats what people on eBay try to hock to beginners, gigantic ancient kites that are "perfect for beginners" That info you got is solid.
if you want to go real cheap, any two line (ie stunt kite) kite will give you very basic kite flying skills. I'm sure there will be some cheap stunt kites on ebay. Saves you forking out 200-300 for a trainer kite. Go practice then go get some lessons.
