Hey all just chucking this up on behalf of a mate.
He has had his Kite Gear stolen, the bloke thats taken it has skipped town and was last known to be in the sunshine coast area, the culprit is driving a White mitsubishi panel van with Switch kites stickers and kitepower stickers on it, if you see any of this gear below please contact this phone number 0422 396 423
Stolen Equipment includes:
- White/Blue Fone Bandit 4 10mtr
- Maroon Fone Bandit 1 13mtr
- 2011 Fone Next TT 135
- 2010 Naish Fish 5'4 (red/yellow with stars on the bottom)
- Mystic Warrior 2 Harness
Ok these are the main things, i know alot of other people own this gear....This suspected person also rides an 11mtr Switch combat(Not many ride). So to Sum it up If you see the mitsubishi van with the stickers and has switch kite or any of the other gear above, Please contact the police asap, and or the contact above.
The Gear has been reported as stolen to the Bundaberg Police
Any Help will be much appreciated, we all know how much of pain in the ass it is to replace gear, but having to replace it all at once would just suck!

Will keep a lookout for you here on the sunny coast. How did the culprit acquire the gear, may I ask ?
To cut a long story short, the victim is a good bloke, so much so...that he was good enough to put a roof over this asshole and his gf's head.
Victim works away, so they basically just packed up the gear and took it while he wasnt home!!!! cant get through via phone contact etc....
there is more gear than what is listed but this is the stuff relating to kiting, theres a few other standard surfboards and bit and pieces.
the reason i am put this up on his behalf is because he's my mate, he's currently away at work again and unable to make the calls etc......

To let a dude and his gf stay in your home, you must at least have some names. Were these people Aussie's?
Not many dudes have the KP sticker. I will keep my eye out for any of those sus type people.

Has this dude traded in his vehicle for a big red Hilux, just saw one in the Sunshine Coast area that might fit your description. Looked like he had a heap of stuff shoved into his wagon too.

I heard sunshine coast is due for wind in a day or 2 so hopefully he'll pop up somewhere
you think he is monitoring this and doing the exact opposite of what you think he will do ? Just a thought?

Ok folks, lets keep it mellow, as this is developing into a kangaroo court.
Keep it simple: some gear has gone missing, and the owner wants it back.
It's not cool to start posting photos of people, labelling them as crims in here, as I've often seen the past that there are two sides to every story, and who knows what that is, as I sure don't... Q&A sessions here is not the way forward.
Lets hope the owner gets his gear back...
