Had an awesome session yesterday on the South Coast,

unforecasted, 3 to 4 foots swell hitting the coast with cross offshore , park and ride wind, . lit on my 12 m Boss.

Checked out 7 mile in the morning but we decided to go to another section a lot further north in the Gong where we found barreling Lefts, some double overhead, off a reef to sand break. The good part was there was only 2 kiters wave surfing on some of the best waves I have seen in a long time.

Had it been Wanda there would have been a zillion surfers to contend with, ....got to love the south coast as there are so many hidden spots, uncrowded

wanda was ok, a lot of surfers early but most of them cleared off when the wind started to really pick up. Nice waves though.

Still, I think it would have been better where you were.

Wanda is still a great place just gets too crowded on the Weekends when the NE winds are on, but still great when those Southerlies blow

I hit the water at 1.30 at wanda and there wasnt a surfer or swimmer in sight. Was such a good day. So good to get wind and solid waves. Couldnt believe how uncrowded it was.
