I have some time in between jobs so I figured I might cross the ditch and spend about a week over there in January.

Is it worth bringing my kite? Or is there somewhere I can rent from if I get some windy days? And how much?

Also, excuse the general question, but what are some of the good spots not too far? I probably won't rent a car and stay central.

Cheers

Are you set on Sydney? Cause if you ant to go kiting you're better off going to Perth...

bring your kite, Sydney gets plenty of wind in Jan, most days gets a ne seabreeze 15-25knots or a southerly anywhere from 15-30 knots. Botany bay is the windiest spot(bay chop) or hit wanda for some waves.
