Found out who it was in the end, saved me $700, huge relief. Yup frankief there was enough wind to kite, wasnt the best session but good to get out. Anyone got any tips so I dont lose my board again.
I trust you've posted this in the windsurfing section also Willows.
Here's loads of good tips to help you keep your prized possession.
* wear a board leash so each time you get smashed it springs back & bangs you in the head to remind you.
* Keep it locked in the garage.
* Improve your kite & body draging skills so it doesn't get away from you.
* Paint it bright colours.
* Only kite on enclosed waters.
* Tie a big bright ball to it to drag around.
* Write your name & address on it.
* Learn which way the currents flow in your area.
* Get a well paid job & don't give a rats.
* Use bindings.
* Teach your girlfriend the fundamentals of binocular use & get her to not let it out of her sight or else!
* Just keep swimming till you find it again.
Don't be hard on them Lach, they're a poor frustrated breed. I was a sufferer for many a year.
Still got the nervous twitch.
Yup posted in the Windsurfer forum and found the bloke that helped out. Thanks for the ever informative information on how to keep my board, very insightful, thanks Col
