I trust you've posted this in the windsurfing section also Willows.
Here's loads of good tips to help you keep your prized possession.
* wear a board leash so each time you get smashed it springs back & bangs you in the head to remind you.
* Keep it locked in the garage.
* Improve your kite & body draging skills so it doesn't get away from you.
* Paint it bright colours.
* Only kite on enclosed waters.
* Tie a big bright ball to it to drag around.
* Write your name & address on it.
* Learn which way the currents flow in your area.
* Get a well paid job & don't give a rats.
* Use bindings.
* Teach your girlfriend the fundamentals of binocular use & get her to not let it out of her sight or else!
* Just keep swimming till you find it again.
Don't be hard on them Lach, they're a poor frustrated breed. I was a sufferer for many a year. Still got the nervous twitch.

I was one of them too . It was one of the most thrilling things that you could do in summer in Wagga where I grew up (besides doing laps of the main street on Saturday night or getting into fights with raafies and grunts ) .I loved it but then I discovered hang gliders and kiting (No I did not get into fights with raafies and grunts). . Sorry folks just couldn't help myself with my lame post,even the double winkies doesn't appease some people it seems.Bad me (i'll make sure I add that to no racist,sexist or sup jokes )
