first two videos are of men doing strange things to four legged furry animals and the last one is pretty good. does the wind ever blow like that for a right hander anywhere? so sick of lefts

Look for cranken westerlies Staf and mid to high tide in the afternoon. the come up when you see a 4m swell 20-30 knot forecast!

There's plenty of right handers. but most of the time they will be heading up wind as the common wind is coming W-SW cross to cross on so the left handers are down wind down the line

Water temp is 13-14 Deg C at the mo.

Dropped my kite in the water yesterday in a location similar to the first vid. Couldn't relaunch before it got hammered by over head height wave. pulled the safety and started swimming like hell. the kite got hammerred in a vicious shore dump with rocks jutting out right next to it while i swam like a demon to get to it.

Magically there was no dammage... Sweeet.

Ha ha ha. . Yep that situation sux. I had a similer situation when i dropped my RPM in a 6 foot swell. Although i wasn,t as lucky as you and my poor kite got pretty beat up. Oh well im in the process of getting a new kite now... The glass is always half full!!
