Dont say straps ok
I seem to ok on the small punts but the big ones are the tough ones

Use a lightweight board. Suspect the pros are ridiculously lightweight cause they're not paying. But I'm with you, it's pretty hard.

Something I want to learn too. I can do overhead and occasionally double overhead but anything descent and I can't keep the board under me. I have a feeling it has something to do with kite positioning. I'm too uncoordinated to manage a grab

Speed speed speed, once you've spotted your ramp go hell for leather, you actually need to send the kite to give you enough lift to float down. If tacking out focus on sucking up your back foot and bringing the board closer, grabbable distance just don't grab.

I got some classics yesterday, probably 50/50 landed as I was going for height.

Or you could just boost into the wind with your kite at lunch like everyone else... It's actually not very hard. It's about as hard as learning to do a raley to blind (maybe not even).
