hey, this is prob been done a hundred times before...
can anyone recommend a travel insurance policy that covers you for kite/extreme sports related injuries? I could goggle it but im too lazy

There is provision to cover for amateur sporting activities.
There is provision for Kite surfing. We will not pay for any claim that arises from playing in a sporting event if you are being paid to play or the trip is being subsidised in anyway.
We do not cover sporting equipment whilst in use.

Not all travel insurance are equal. Get on the Trip Adviser forum and you'll see what I mean. Most are excellent until you make a claim!
