Generally useful website with trick tutorials :
kite-skills.com/index.php?option=com_seyret&Itemid=54
There is also a book, "Kitesurfing: The complete guide" by Kristin Boese, which explains heaps of tricks.
try youtube everything can be found on there or buy the progression dvds these sell on ebay for $50 each they are an awesome learning series that help heaps, have fun, good luck
If you want to get a DVD then i'd highly recommend the Kiteboarding Progression series. I've got the Intermediate and Advanced DVD's and they go through each trick step by step looking at what you need to be doing with the kite, the board, body position and common mistakes.
If you want to see the style of teaching they've put a few sample tricks on YouTube.
The kite skills one looks good.
Here's another www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=kitefilm&e=com
IMO Darren Marshals AKS site is good as far as describing tricks.
The Kristin Boese book has a chapter for beginners, then safety, gear, and another one about wave kiting.
But most of the time it explains tricks (very well presented), and it gets up to blind judge, kiteloop double backroll, f-16, kiteloop to blind, unhooked downloop s-bend..
So at least I have not outgrown this book yet. ![]()
About the Real dvds: The first two are fantastic for beginners! Joyride is produced very well also, but is not particularly advanced - boosting with grabs, back- and frontrolls, that's it. Probably the triple s covers more advanced tricks?
So were do you get the book from and how much is it . Now you guys have given it a such a good write up iam keen too see it to .
I might write a book on race track driving soon, I mean seriously I can drive a car and go around a track surely I could write a book about it...
If the book is anything like the way she coaches - I'm sure it will be awesome. She has a great way of explaining things and gives alot more back to the sport than people realise.
I like the progression series and the Hadlow progression pro DVD might be worth a look for those riders pulling better moves than in Kristin's book.
WAVERIDE BOOK!?!? HOW DID I MISS OUT!!!! damn damn damn i got to get one of those too, il be charging the 2ft beach slop like its your grandmas birthday
Haahaa nice to see tosser 1, 2 and 3 chiming in with the full negative we are so superior slant, how unusual.
