To the more elderly gentleman who landed his Kite in/at 2nd Carpark Sth Trigg (on the little grass area near the main footpath and the Kiosk) a couple of days ago. Not being a fun Nazi but its probably not the best location to land it......![]()
Not having a go at you in particular.
But you need to discuss it face-to-face with the person doing the wrong thing, if their basic brain is still unable to understand why you might be concerned post it on here so others can keep an eye out for them.
With the spotlight on kitesurfing and the beach management plan, please place yourself in a non-kiters shoes when approaching other water uses.
E.g. if you did not kite and were going for a swim/walk on the beach how would you feel if someone approached you at speed, regardless of whether they are upwind or downwind?
Enjoy
Matt
PS To the idiots that think it is OK to kite in and out within 5m of surfers please rethink you actions.
In keep surfin's defence he did attempt to approach the kiter in question but was up the other end of the car park and getting in his car by the time we were in a position to confront said kiter.
Btw- what's with keep surfin's farked up avatar?! That's one ugly dude :0
