Planning on a friday to sunday trip down south.
It seems bunbury and Margs might have some easterlies in store for us for friday and sat morning.
Just wondering if you guys might know any spots that allow for easterlies down there?
Or are all spot going to be offshore?
Augusta is the go, for flat water in the river mouth or little waves in the ocean.
How did you get on over at Rotto last week, Friday looked good. I got there on Saturday, think I saw on orange kite up briefly was that you?
Was light all day but I go a quick kite in at Salmon just before 5 when the Southerly picked up to almost 15kts.
Augusta sounds great but unfortunately it is a little far for just a couple of days.
Is Australind on the other side of the estuary any good on Easterlies?
Dunsborough it definitely an idea. What sort of conditions does Dunsborough have? waves, chop or flat?
No waves at dunsborough, flat water, small chop in stronger winds. Australind on the other side may be good, have been meaning to check it out, may do it this weekend. Let us know how you get on.
