Just spent 10 days chasing wind around Perth Lancelins Gero etc.
I thought you guys & gals were paranoide about theft in your fair state until![]()
Got off the plane, hired a motorhome and headed for Lancelin. Took my board down to the beach near the jetty, walked back to get my kite, upon returning to the beach this long hair git in a white commodore was making off with my board until I yelled out. Then I got abused when they were driving away.
Very conscious after that. warning signs on most parking bays are there for a reason I guess.
Dissapointing to hear, there isn't normally a problem with kite and windsurfer gear going missing is Lancelin, any chance you got the rego of the car?
I guess that was the only a minor hicup during the trip, the rest was pretty good.
Lano servied up 25 > 30knots side wind. tacked upto where everyone else for awhile but there was a better little left hander straight out from the jetty.
Gero served up 2 days of 20 > 35 side. Stayed at the Sunset beach caravan park. Had a couple of good left hand sessions out the front of Sunset.
Coro a bid busy out the back, but had fun.
Next few days were quite. Port Gregory looked like it would be a great spot.
Spent the last few days In Perth area, Pinnaroo was great, the wife loved Hilary's wharf area.
Had a quick sess at beach just north of Freeo, think it was call Leightons or something like that.
The rest was spent at Woodies and Coggee beach infront tof the caravan park.
Met some great people. Alot of money has been spent along the beach fronts of most of the town i visited. Roads were A1.
