just got back, 3 words and a number, "i need a 7m" though i'd just see how the 9 went and errr it was nearly me that went down down down the beach and looked like this or this. Thankfully i had a mate hanging on just incase. was tempted to get the 2m trainer and surfboard out, reckon i almost could have run it!

Had to see some kiting today..........conditions looked kn great, esp. for small kite stuff.

Watched KAOS ripping it up all alone at Woodies bay 1 today..........he rocks, nice slashing and great boosts. Wish I could have been out today, but my body is stuffed and I still don't have that 6m that I have been looking for.

crazy good session.

Some boys down at Pelican were throwing HUGE HUGE kiteloops at about 6.30. They were awesome.

Big boosts, and wind stayed cranking till after sunset. too good.

definitely the windiest day I've seen this year.

It has been shocking here. I can usually guarantee fpur days a week in summer.

One day since Xmas!

japie,

Your location appears to be broken, where are you? Not here, obviously...

Will try and rectify!

Been in Stockton for 18 months. Last summer was ok, this year has been atrocious. Literally one day since Xmas. Usually get three or four a week.Have missed out on a few due to work but fusk me it is not good. Might have to come back over that way and get a night job and a lobotomy

Yep noice downy City Beach to Trigg.

Ride down the wave as fast as you like towards your kite and it will never go down in those winds.

Fully lit on 7. Nice to have the ocean nice and empty. Always surfers at Trigg though...I really wonder why they bother sometimes.

Im a surfer as well, but 30knots....come on!

It was a truely epic day, the wind was that strong it was smoothing the chop out between the waves.

The body is feeling paying for the fun today.

I fly a 7 on a normal day........one of the other chicks was out on a 4. To turn you just have to wink on the appropriate side :)

I only have a 12m so i couldn't get out. Was out at scabs though like i always am on my standup when there is 30 knots +. Some of scabs best summer waves arrive with those conditions. Much better then waiting around in the morning for knee height sets to roll in that just break straight. Mind you a downwind on the downhill skate board from Scabs to Hillarys boat harbor is always fun

And then midnight came and the wind remained the same. Another wicked day for the experienced kiters.

But a fair showing of donkeys were out today. Hats off to the Knob (not noob) who decided self-launching with twisted lines at pinnas today with a 10m Rebel was a good idea, and who didn't use a safety leash because he lost it. Definite contender for the darwin awards!!

Another great day in WA today....man I wish I could go out. Check out Pelican Pt. today and what a great spot....launched a dude who didn't have a clue but all ok. Watched guy on Cab Nomad who was rippen and keeping an eye on the scene. Not a place for nobs, but with right method for landing and launching is ok. To the guy I launched today I really felt sorry for him....his windsurfing mate was about to launch him in the most dangerous position imaginable but I helped out and all was cool.

Please people, think about how and where you are going to launch....for gods sake give yourself some margin for error..........you don' t want to hit a brick wall if something goes wrong. Use your friggen head for gods sake...................you were ready to be toast mate.

Anyhow, hope all was safe with the great winds we have been having and I do believe Peli is a great place to ride................but launch and land needs to use some friggen brains..............be safe and enjoy our great winds......wahoooooooooooooooo....

See Laurie I made it home and even managed to put up a constructive post.

Fark I want to get well again so I can kite............Peli looked great today, even to someone who thinks it is the most dangerous place to launch and land a kite....peace karma to all.
