It must surely be in tatters ATM

I think the wind is like Wally, where is it

I flew over for kitestock
I flew over for the redbull race
I hear they had to use 16m kites at the recent wave titles
I hear some well know wave sailers are deserting the west and heading over east

Hell with graphs like this I cant blame them

That graph is only 20 knots.
After the phenomenal turbo-mega-giga-boosting we had this winter, any respectable WA kiter wouldn't even get out of bed for that nonsense mate.

I agree the entire West Coast is utter rubbish.
Eastern states have it over us for everything.
Go to Sydney everyone - it cranks

Just got a new Ozone 7m Edge tonight ( red in colour as it is faster) from Darren at AKS in Perth, in case it is 25 to 35 knots on 18 Dec at L2L. Have been soooooooooooooo over powered on my race board at 25 plus over last 2 weeks on my 11m. Not sure how Alex C can ride a 9m in 25 to 35 knots & not be WAY over powered & in control on the ocean. Great to see Alex C setting pace again. Lets hope for good winds?

Wrdic got to see you on 18th.... And at the Cott Hotel after a fast day on the water ....

WA stands for Windy Always but hey you can't stay on top for ever. The last couple of weekends and days during the week have been cranking up to and over 25 knots.
I started kiting in Sydney in 2000 and let me tell you the amount of days I sat around in summer was rediculous. Ive been here for 5 years now and I have never kited so much in the summer in all the time I kited in Sydney.
So buddy it mother nature and what can you do about it. We are having a very wierd weather patterns ATM and it usually fricking cranking now.

This is the sh!ttest wind conditions I've ever seen , this last 12 months has been the worst wind in years.
We're gonna move from Perth to Queensland which should also help this ****e out a bit.

You don't need to remind us, we remember it well, it's a celebrated holiday here. Dump Day.

Your benevolent offering fertilized fields, promoting crops the like of which we had never seen, it stimulated the economy, created jobs, a tourism industry grew around people coming to see the site of your dump.

It was, and still is, a focal point of the community, it gave us something to talk about, something to be proud of, an identity. It created happiness.

We can only hope you may stop once more and pass your stool in our town.
