better description needed,

sounds like a right of way issue, rather than a jumping in wave zone issue which is up to the kitter, if he has right of way

dammit another reason why i'm uncool.
I love jumping in waves. particularily if i can double them up and jump from one and land on the other. or come screaming in behind one and pull an big jump and land on the wave face.

Infact i like being uncool. Then i don't have to bother with being limited by the social stigma of my coolness.

What about if its some serious boosting, 30+ kts flattish water heading into head high waves for kickers?

Cool then?

Hey everyone is riding Surfboards now, I'm still on mutants, so I'm already uncool. hence jumping in waves on a mutant, hooked in, with a frontroll grab rail, into a old school transition, dude man dude like man, .... I'm the uncoolist of the lot.

There there on the avalon jibe (pardon the pun), waveslave is teh sort of characters we need to lighten the mood. By the way, you can't miss him... for a number of reasons.

who exactly thinks its uncool ?

I cant think of anything much better in Kiting than lining up a 10footer throwing a massive boost and loop transition off the top and landing back on the wave.

The only people who probably think it is uncool are the kooks on surfboards ...90 % of whom dont even ride in the pocket but either out in front of the wave or on the shoulder ................now thats uncool !

That was the coolest ever.
It's not that jumping off kickers is uncool it's just getting in the way of everyone else trying to ride the waves is uncool.
Mind you heading out to certain waves on a twin tip can be uncool
