it.As for the payment..i will be paying you via the fastest and secure

Some almost new gear!!
Strange really I wonder when he will find the time to use his newly purchased kitesurfing gear when he's always so busy
Can anyone or does anyone know of a way to ring this to Lauries attention in case he goes through the buy and sell as well?

Do not trust!
He is asking for your address before he paid you. So his "private courier" can pay you a visit...
yeah just another scammer - usually they fake the pay pal 'payment' advice - ie "I've just paid you - heres the paypal reciept".
I never send anything that is paid for by pay pal until the money has been transfered from Paypal to my bank account.
You can have some fun with these coc#s but it really just wastes you time.
First stage of a complete scam. Take a look at this artical.

FAR OUT!
I put an ad on gumtree this morning and a few minutes ago I got exactly the same e-mail, found it strange and googled his email address which brought me to this thread. Anyway, total scam!
Cheers
I had the same last year ( selling car ) almost down to a tee..I picked it as a scam right away as he was willing to pay extra as he liked it soooo much.Bloody Toyota camry piece of crud lol....
I played along for a bit but then he started to get quite pushy and rude....hahahahahh wankers...
yeah paypal scam is common they can actually pay you via pay pal and then pick up the items "via courier "
then as paypal always protects the buyer over the seller they just say item not recieved and they get all there money back from you/paypal as well as the item
. . . you won't have a leg to stand on as no proof that it was sent to an authorised paypal address
scum. . .
Yeah more just wanted to raise awareness as I thought it was a little more clever than the standard
"I would like to buy this and will pay twice as much if u pay the postage of...."
@ cold shot - no that's not my ad
