The LE bladder on my kite has two sections that are severely stretched due to pumping it up when the bladder was somehow twisted or stuck together. Should I cut out the stretched section before patching or just patch over the top?

Seems risky I would just order and replace the entire bladder for peace of mind.

Sometimes the material on the leading edge will prevent the bladder from expanding once fitted but always risky once stretched. Potentially tear aid reinforcement depending on size of stretch, otherwise replacement.

See you are WA based so give me a shout and I'll advise further - I have a number of new bladders in stick if repair can't be carried out.

good tight clamp on the shaft to prevent leakage, but it’s only temporary. See (sail)doctor if symptoms persist.
