The best threads for me contain a bit of unexpected drama.
I have enjoyed the ones where someone will post something about safety or kiting etiquette. The one's where the thread starts out in a seemingly reasonable manner until.....
....... another person posts the same event through their point of view
Example: www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/General/Thanks-for-crashing-your-kite-into-my-children/
It took 1.5 pages until we got the other, less dramatic, point of view
or....... the poster slowly digs themselves into kooksville.
Example: RSC stating he accepted 60% responsibility for stuffing up his own kite launch :)

So what has been your favourite kiting thread?
Alex Sandz gets my votes!!
or this fine example...

Winning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any thread about someones adventure to a far away place (or their back yard) with a few pics and some words of excitment.
Gets you thinking of where you would rather be![]()
I really like the kiting vs windsurfing threads. Surfingboyo was good at stirring **** . Sorry to drag this out of the windsurfing forum but I found it quite entertaining.

Good find teabaggin. I doubt such stirring would work on the Poleys now. They have wised up and have got used to posters like lotofwind persistently trying to stir em up whether it's funny or not.
I wonder if Surfingboyo was the work of Sir Rowdy?
Threads where the poster is tossing up between kites A and B and is seeking advice from kiters that have flown one or both.
Numerous punters take the time to pen their experiences and then the poster comes back with his decision to buy kite C.
