Btw size would be nice too, im 6', round 95kgs, if thats a factor at all..
Regards, Aaron.
another troll already? a seasonal infestation?
(if not, and you can stay upwind already, buy my tempo,
it's the right size, pretty good at everything, and forgiving along the learning curve too.)
Mate most boards will be fine for that, I ride a wake style board and still have plenty of fun when we head out in the surf. Get a second hand late model, demo a few, they're all different. Just get out there..
Get a TT board around 132-135cm, dont get something to high performance as it will slow your progression down, so look at learner/intermediate boards aimed more towards freeride. Once you are up ridding comfortably you will have a better idea as to what type of board you are after, you may find you will stick with a intermediate board for a fair while. There are lots to choose from and they all ride a little different if you are after a brand new board just check out the different brand sites and have a bit of a readup on there boards, check out Best, nobile, LF, Slingshot, Fone, Cardboards to name a couple.
For surf buy a second hand Surf board around 6'2 it doesnt need straps.
For speed you may want to get something custom made out of carbon fibre to set world records. 50kts+
