Nobile Shinn Wave Board seems interesting is there a 2010 model what else is suggested or should I persist with a surfboard?
there is no right or wrong, just use whatever you feel most comfortable on and have the most fun on. Surfboards are better for pure waveriding, but I prefer mutants for messing around in onshore slop, they are better for jumping too.
The Jimmy Lewis Rad - F (137") is the best board I have ridden. Made super tuff and goes sick in the waves.
Choice Kite Surfing is the only shop that stocks them in Oz as far as I know.
I've been riding the RRD Toxic Wave mutant for a while now and absolutely love it.
Just googling I noticed it's had a revision for 2010 (http://www.kingofwatersports.com/rrd-toxic-wave-2-kiteboard-2010-i7716.html) compared to the one I have (www.sossurf.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=96&Itemid=1)
One thing I did was put bigger surf fins on the back two main fins for more grip which made a good difference.
Like the others said it depends what you want. The guy I bought the toxic wave off much preferred riding a proper surf board so was getting rid of it.
