Hey all, went to Whitfords beach today, or to be exact first car park north of the roundabout. As i am a noob and trying to work out how to get up wind, i thought this was a good place to kite without getting in the way of everyone at Pinaroo. Anyway when i got back to my car my drivers side window had been smashed in! Just wanted averyone to keep a lookout for these little ****s as i am pretty pissed off and want to know where they live!!! Was between 3.30/5.00 
That place is notorious for that sort of thing. Just check out all the broken glass on the ground it's everywhere. It's the same sort of thing at the carparks between City beach n Brighton. I think its such a shame that where and when you kite is dictated to a point by these little bottom dwellers.
If I was a noob trying to learn to go upwind (knowing what I know now), I'd do a huge downwinder , Scarbs to Mulla's ?, all the while, trying to go upwind. By the end of it , you just might have it dialled. Not my own idea, read it on a forum somewhere. Could save you a lot of time and walking backwards up the beach. Cheers , J
I've had my window smashed 4 times now, I think I've learnt my lesson. Mullaloo car park 1st and 2nd. Also Mullaloo surf club car park and Trigg. I just leave my windows down now with nothing in the car, problem solved, well kind of. I caught the pricks doing it one time. 4 guys, 2 stay in the car, 2 get out and run through the car park smashing all windows that they see something worthwhile in. They did 9 cars at the mullaloo car park. Cops finger printed my car but it's a waste of time. We need guns, big ones. Paris

It's best not to kite at Whitfords Beach as it is a dog exercise beach where there can often be horses. We get dirty on the dogs and horses for coming down to Pinnaroo so maybe best if we stay off Whitfords. Besides it gets really busy with general public and animals up there.
Sorry to hear of the carpark issue. Pinna's isn't near as bad as it used to be, probably because there are so many people coming and going regularly. I'd say come to Pinna's. Council want the kiting to be confined to Pinna's so it looks like it will be that way in the new coastal management plan. They have done a fair bit to improve Pinnaroo. Now if they can just get the disgusting ******s out of the dunes and dunnies it will be perfect!

i have had my car done over as well this season its a pain
windows down is the go and leave the boot open as well
and if some one gets them sms me so i can have a go at there windows
many ppl learn at pinna's matty, every1 knows this, especially the regular crew there, and i am yet to see competent kiters upset having to deal with learners, in fact i think its the opposite, your better off at pinna's where there's people about who would help u if u happen to get in trouble. i'd consider myself a competent kiter but i've found myself in a spot and thanks again AKS for savin my kite! and me! (not sure if i coulda swam that far!)

haha rubbish my car has been done over at pinnas, people everywhere but no one saw anything
. they smashed in my window with a rock, went through my dash and pissed off leaving the rock and alot of bloody glass all over the show
If it makes you feel any better my friends a cop and was called out to ocean reef mariner recently where some tool on a bike got caught breaking into some dudes car by the owner and he got bashed up so severly they had to call an ambulance
