Looks like there might just about be enough wind around the Entrance this weekend, I'm still learning and have been looking for an instructor / school around the Entrance but can't find one. Surely there must be someone doing lessons around that area? Any ideas? I'd appreciate any reccos.

Thanks

Its winter and its cold, the wind is very, gusty unpredictable and unreliable at this time of the year, virtually all instructors and schools shut down. Contact ESS, but I think their instructor works up at the snowfields over winter?
We have a guy that will do lessons on Botany Bay if you are keen.

Cold???? I'm from the UK so this isn't cold! Cold is anything below about 4 degrees air temperature!

Thanks for the tip. I'll keep my eye on BB wind, not looking great atm.

I"ll teach you for free!!

you just pay the shop ( botany) he like it when he makes money of me and I get a warm feeling inside so it's a win win situation.

But you have to understand that I have been teaching full time for over 12 years so your going to have to deal with heaps of experiance and passion.

Can you handle that?

If you at the entrance you have to spot me for fuel and food

we could go here ??

learning to kite with big kites in winter on the NSW coast .Not for the faint hearted .Alex's video paints the picture I think
If you really want to learn in winter head up to Mackay for a couple of weeks and catcjh up with Joe and get it dialed .
