Hey! Just wondering what winds to expect in winter in albany and esperance.
Are there consistant winds in any directions? And what would I expect over a 1 month holiday?
Kited there numerous times in summer but not winter. And yes I have a great wetty.

Normally in Albany over winter you'd get S,SW,W winds with the odd NE and NW(wettie for sure ;) You can get into the waves and some flat water.
So far we have been getting quite a few usable NE which is not so common over this time but is almost as usable as the summer SE. (very favourable down here) keeping in mind it's not quite winter yet.
The winter winds are obviously not as smooth and consistant as the summer breezes, some directions at certain spots can be v gusty but most are usable, you'd be sure to get plenty of kiting in over a month.
