I thought the question was where there will be wind in the winter, not where can I kite in the winter if I am a scaredy cat.
the murky water hides the crocs so you dont get stressed seeing them swim around all of the time... and they hardly ever go for kite boarders
i think the jellies are only around during the summer
I think some one does kitesurfing tours in Nth Qld in the winter. Give it a look they will take u to all the good spots.
North Queensland- Townsville, Cairns, Cooktown, Lizard Island. The further north you go the more wind you will find and more wind offshore.
South Pacific region (PNG) gets heaps of wind similar to Lizard Island.
