Far Nth Qld or Cook islands, Etc.. is your safest bet.

I thought the question was where there will be wind in the winter, not where can I kite in the winter if I am a scaredy cat.

the murky water hides the crocs so you dont get stressed seeing them swim around all of the time... and they hardly ever go for kite boarders

i think the jellies are only around during the summer

I think some one does kitesurfing tours in Nth Qld in the winter. Give it a look they will take u to all the good spots.

North Queensland- Townsville, Cairns, Cooktown, Lizard Island. The further north you go the more wind you will find and more wind offshore.

South Pacific region (PNG) gets heaps of wind similar to Lizard Island.

usually strongest months for lizard are: june, july, august.. it fires then- day and night

PNG blows 18-25knots all day and night from May-Nov. Fly from Cairns for like $400 and Air Niguni offers 50kg baggage allowance for kiters and surfers!
