A five-metre shark has been seen in Cockburn Sound, prompting a warning from the Fisheries Department.
Water Police received a report about 6.30 today that the shark, believed to be a Great White, was seen in Cockburn Sound near the Alcoa Power Station this morning.

Think this might be the same one, tho these guys spotted it yesterday morning while they were spear fishing. haha crazy dudes.

Fishermen told me a few days back that saw a biggi right out near the point of Beach 2. Couldnt be sure what or how big.
Theres been a few dolphins around lately so I figured it was probably one of them - maybe not ![]()
don't fret, one shark in K's and K's of coastline, ill be going out tomorrow regardless of sharks, Metro's get scared too easily
