For those that like to try new places have a look at Yanchep Lagoon. I must declare here that I own the Café there but it has great facilities for kite surfing, good parking overlooking the Lagoon, toilet and showers and easy access to the beach. Please stay to the north of the Lagoon (do not surf inside the Lagoon itself many people swim there), there is plenty of beach to set up on off the northern end of the Lagoon. There is a break for those who want a wave to ride which is usually about 100-150m off the northern end of the Lagoon. The Café will do a Special Rosies Hot Chicken Roll with Mayo for kite surfers for $6 bucks just ask the girls in the café.

Might have to be the new local. Takes too long to get to Mullaloo from Alkimos. They need to open up the beach to Alkimos ASAP.
