Hi all,
Im looking to teach the little lady kiting this summer (so we can actually see each other) and was looking for some chick harness recommendations. Was thinking a seat harness but am interested to know your thoughts?
check out the maui magic harness - its a waisty specific for chicks that one of the girls here swears by. One of the main features is a satin lining on the inside so they don't rash up...
I used to wear a Dakine Fushion seat harness =]
I currently use a LF Chicks waist harness, and love it; it provides enough padding and support.
Really, anything with a lot of back padding and support would be great for her imho; just needs to get used to it on her hips and do it up tight enough. :)

Firstly good on ya for getting the misses into kiting
if you go a seat harness make sure its got the satin lining on the straps between the legs as funkyllama said. I had a seat harness there for a bit, and lost a strip of skin either side of my inner upper leg, even thro a wetty. Looked like two burn lines. (not a good look when strutting ur stuff in a bikini etc....) So now I have a waist harness and love it. Tho they could make chick harnesses a bit smaller. I aint the skinniest chicks, but my XS is still a tad to big!! My waist harness is pretty compfy, nice broad back and very compfy... tho a thicker strap at the front so the bar, or end of the donkey dick cant dig in would be an improvement. My harness is a Pure Girl made by Prolimit.

Hi the_crow,
We have got stock of the new Maui Magic Luna Waist harnies for the ladies. They are a beautiful harness in every sense of the word. I have them in all sizes if you'd like to get her to try them on.
We also have Pat Love Eve harnesses for the ladies in stock as well as a few older Flying Objects Sapphire harnesses which are a little dated in design, especially when compared to the Luna or the Eve, but lots of ladies raved about the Sapphires in their day so maybe worth a look too. Certainly a lot cheaper.
It's good to try on a few different ones, you can never be too careful with harnesses as a harness that isn't comfortable will really spoil her day every time she rides.
Cheers,
KH
we have found that for small girls waists the North Styler Air XS is best and most comfi fit.
otherwise the pat love eve k's are good for ladies
"i aint the skinniest of chicks, but my XS still is to big" give me a break!
I suppose you could be right tho, i'm a fatty boom baa and i fit into a medium harness.

I thought you told me it was so she would be comfortable when the safetys connected to the kitchen cupboard handle - your on your own with that one buddy
Hi Again peeps,
The Pat Love Eve XS and Flying Objects Sapphire XS are so tiny I reckon they'd fit a 10 YO Ethiopian girl with an eating disorder.
If they are too large on you, you have bigger problems than not being able to find a harness that fits!
Cheers,
KH
I had both a seat, and then a waist harness in Dakine and it was fairly comfortable. Their quality was ****e though - I tore the webbing on the seat harness in half the second time I used it - sending one of the spreader clips to the bottom of the ocean and leaving me unhooked and overpowered. I wouldn't get another one. Both Dakine harnesses were reinforced about three times during their lives. So; Dakine: very comfy but poor quality.
Now I use a flogged men's North waist harness. It is the most comfy thing I have ever used. I know several women who use men's north harnesses and swear by them (in a good way).
Hi Guys and Gals,
thanks for the feedback/suggestions. Its interesting to hear a lot of ladies liking the new waist harnesses. i was always of the thought that seat harnesses were the preffered option for the ladies
. I will bring my young lady into your shop kitehard to try a few on. Im sure the colur of the harness will be a big selling point for her.
thanks again
