adding fifth line to a 4 line kite??

did anyone tryd to add a fifth line to a 4 line kite for light wind relaunch?
wihch 4 line wave kite relaunch in lightest wind? wich one goes up wind best in light wind(8-10)knot

adding a 5th is super easy, just add a pigtail to the centre point of the kite which has a knot in line with the wing tips in lengh, then run your 5th through the bar and it should be at a length where it's not under tension when kite's fully sheeted in.

If you can go upwind on any kite in 8-10 knots you don't need a 5th line.

You need to start your own religion

Dude - theres nothing wrong with your kites RELAUNCH...

N0 inflatible kite launches well in 8 knots - go watch a DVD & drink beer instead to apease the wind gods for your Noobness

8 knots is asking for special gear - a raceboard and 17m Kite... Both of which don't work too well in waves
