hey folks. So, I had my 11m kite repaired a couple months ago. The chicken loop rope snapped.

All good, at the same time my center lines were out of wack, so the shop I had the repair done at made them the same length. A pigtail was added to one of the center lines (4 line kite).

So, ever since, my kite hasn't been the same.

I find myself in the poo stance way, way too often, and I can hardly kite without being fully sheeted out.

My back lines are too short or my bridle lines are too long (or both).

The kite will just fall foward into the wind window and stall if I have the bar sheeted in what so ever. Really annoying especially in light winds.

Any tips to fix this? :)

Sounds like the chicken loop line is too long,if its not easy to shorten then add length to the back lines, you could make up a couple of extensions,by the sounds of it prob 250-300mm with about 3-4 knots at equal intervals should do it.

I guess I'll just buy some pig tails.

Thanks :)
